The Axkid NEXTKID Rehab car seat has been specifically designed to cater to children with various seating needs. The NEXTKID aims to provide postural support whilst maintaining the new high safety standards expected from car seats.
In order to ensure an optimal seating position, for example with individuals with scoliosis or spasms, the side wings can be adjusted independently. Additionally, various postural accessories (including padded lateral trunk supports and a padded pommel) are included as standard. In additional to these, plenty of other accessories can be added to the NEXTKID, including a tilting plate and footrest, to ensure maximum comfort and positioning of the occupant. We understand the importance of having a car seat which lasts – a car seat which your child outgrows in six months just isn’t of much use! As such, the NEXTKID features an 8-position height adjustable headrest as well as four levels of asynchronously adjustable side wings to perfectly adapt to your growing child. Of course, how long the car seat will last will depend upon your child’s starting measurements, so if you click the Technical / Sizing Chart tab, you can view the full range of growth as well as the actual size and weight of the car seat itself. In addition, to make lifting easier, the seat is incredibly light weight, weighing just 8 kg, and can be fitted with an ISOFIX swivel base to save your back from the weight of your growing child!
